In recent news, the American Recovery Act Cash for Clunkers program has been so successful, it may warrant more funding after already burning through $1 billion. Americans have traded in their selected gas guzzlers for up to $4,500 towards a new, more fuel-efficient vehicle. Congress is looking to contribute $2 billion more to the fund.
